Our Coordinator recommends that you plan on staying three nights. She would like to see you spend the first day traveling and unwinding (and possibly missing a flight or loosing track of luggage etc.) the second day getting familiar with your surroundings and shaking off any jet lag. The Third day you will attend our Wonderful Wedding Celebration and not miss a thing or be  lost ~ this is the most successful itinerary she can recommend to eliminate unnecessary hassles.

Blue Lake Ranch/Ridgewood Event Center is located in Hesperus, Colorado just outside the Durango area.

Durango is southwest Colorado's largest town, with a population of approximately 15,000, (45,000 in La Plata County). Those who live here choose to live here, and understand the meaning and importance of quality of life. Thus, the community reflects the energy, contrast, and diversity of the surrounding geography.

Durango is near the Four Corners junction with New Mexico, Arizona and Utah, and is perched at 6,512 feet, nestled between red sandstone bluffs in the vast Animas River Valley. To the north lie the peaks of the San Juan and Needles Mountains, which rise to an average elevation above 10,500 feet. To the west are arid desert lands, and to the south lies the southern border of the two million acre San Juan National Forest, and stark canyon country.

A trip to Durango is even easier now as the Durango-La Plata County Airport (Airport Code: DRO) welcomes DELTA AIRLINES.  The airport is now serviced by three airlines providing daily arrivals from Phoenix, AZ (AMERICA WEST/US AIR), Denver (UNITED EXPRESS), and now Salt Lake City, UT (DELTA AIRLINES).
