After 17 years of devoting herself to the success of other peoples businesses in a wide range of capacities such as customer service liaison, administrative assistance, purchasing agent, hospitality management and consulting fields, she realized she had evolved into a special events coordinator. Wedding Planning and Special Event production felt so rewarding and came so naturally to her that she felt it was time to launch her own business. 

 

As a Special Events Coordinator, Stephanie coordinated the Colorado Fire Fighters Academy held by the San Juan Vocational Tech School, Cortez who hosts the technical training event annually for the Four Corners region. CFFA drew 400+ participants, maintained 12 committee members, and more than twenty instructors from several states. 

 

Later, Stephanie moved on to assist in the organization and coordination of family reunions, large outdoor concerts (2500+ attendants) and weddings held at Echo Basin Guest Ranch ~ Mancos, Colorado.  

 

She continued on as a wedding coordinator at Blue Lake Ranch, Hesperus, Colorado ~ considered one of the top bed and breakfast inns in the United States by Country Inns, Conde Nast Traveler and Travel & Leisure.  

 

It is to her credit that both of these prior employers fully support her efforts to become an independent wedding coordinator / special events coordinator - they serve as her best references in the field.

 

Stephanie's broad years of experience in purchasing and office management, coupled with her exposure to the hospitality industry certainly prove very valuable since planning any event requires the ability to create and adhere to a realistic budget, accomplish duties within a given time frame and possess the poise and diplomacy to work with diverse personalities and situations.
